Development + Digital Activism + Design

About me.

I am a social justice advocate with professional experience in leadership, strategic communications, impact + learning, and program management.

At a glance.

In my 10 years of professional experience, I learned that placing people at the center of our processes, policies, and programs creates a culture of kindness and generates solutions that can influence the communities in which we live.

This philosophy has led me to train 400+ youth in advocacy-focused educational programs, establish volunteer-led operations across countries in Asia, and support organizational leaders, activists, and campaigners in Asia, Europe, and Latin America on impact and communication strategy for citizen-led digital activism.

My areas of expertise.

01.

Leadership & management

I’ve led global teams of staff and youth volunteers in advocating human dignity in culture, education, and policy, and in supporting ordinary citizens to create the change they want to see through technology and capacity-building.

My areas of responsibility have covered global and regional vision, strategy, impact and learning, organizational development, and culture.

02.

STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS

My background in Communication and Design has propelled me towards roles that manage and collaborate with a global network of creative professionals in designing visual branding, identity systems, and communication strategies to raise brand awareness and generate leads.

As a multimedia specialist, I have worked on brand-building projects, strategy development, creative direction, and content development (writing, copyediting, and visual design).

03.

Program Management & training

My expertise in this area stemmed from managing and facilitating grassroots-focused intensive programs. In my previous capacity, I’ve trained 300+ individuals from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, and Vietnam.

More recently, I’ve set the groundwork for bringing an onsite, high-touch program online. My areas of responsibility have covered editing module content, auditing user experience and design, and setting up systems and processes for bringing the curriculum to an online learning management system.

How I work.

As a way of life, I like to keep an open mind. This openness and constant curiosity feeds into my work, allowing me to lead with empathy and to create projects that impress, inspire, influence, and provoke.

Say hello :)
